Yes, that is right for the first time ever the Rangers are the league champs. The Texas Rangers are going to the World Series for the first time ever!!! In the Rangers first three post-season appearances they only won a total of one game. Twice they were swept by the New York Yankees. So, I was rather nervous about playing the Yankees for the league championship.

What an amazing story the Rangers are this season. Nolan Ryan and Ron Washington have done a great job and it should be a great series.
Just wished they could have gotten there when Nolan was still playing.
