Sky Watch Friday: Lake Alice at Sunset

Took these pictures at Lake Alice at Sunset. Lake Alice is located on the campus of the University of Florida. It is home to alligators, birds, bats and other critters.

I really like the pink tones in the sky.

Not sure what the building is but to me it resembles a chapel.

Thanks for the comments. I also think the first one looks like it was done with pastels (my preferred medium.)

  8. Oh yes, the pink tones on the sky are really great but the silhouette on the other photo is not bad either.
So …they are both great photos.

Fantastic… I remembered the bats from last week by the way… like you I find the ‘pink’ colouring so striking about these.. the bottom picture is brilliant.. it really is.
