Appetizer

Invent a new flower; give it a name and describe it.

My flower would be a Rosebonnet. It would be a hybrid between a red rose and a Bluebonnet. Red roses and bluebonnets are two of my favorite flowers. It would have sweet fragrance of roses mixed with fresh smell of bluebonnets. The coloring would be a very dark purple with white tips. The Rosebonnet would have flowers a little larger than the normal bluebonnets. Also, it would be thorn free.

Name someone whom you think has a wonderful voice.

Growing up I always thought my dad had the greatest voice. Daddy had a wonderful bass voice and was a great singer. He also had been a DJ and I loved it when he would use his “radio voice”.

Others I think have a wonderful voice include Josh Groban and Tait.

Salad
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how clean do you keep your car?

That depends on the day. Sometimes it is probably around a 5. Currently, it is about a 9 not counting the pollen on the outside.

Main Course
How do you feel about poetry?

It is fine unless I have to write it. For many years, I competed, judged and coached oral interpretation competitions. My event of choice was poetry.

Sky Watch Friday: Lake Alice at Sunset

Took these pictures at Lake Alice at Sunset. Lake Alice is located on the campus of the University of Florida. It is home to alligators, birds, bats and other critters.

I really like the pink tones in the sky.

Not sure what the building is but to me it resembles a chapel.
