Each Day of Holy Week I will be posting a song and scripture passage.
And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! Matthew 21:9 (ESV)
We Will Glorify by Twilla Paris
We will glorify the King of Kings,
We will glorify the Lamb,
We will glorify the Lord of Lords,
Who_ is the great I Am.
Lord Jehovah reigns in majesty,
We will bow before His throne,
We will worship Him in righteousness,
We will worship Him alone.
He is Lord of heaven, Lord of earth,
He is Lord of all who live,
He is Lord above the universe,
All praise to Him we give.
Hallelujah to the King of Kings,
Hallelujah to the Lamb.
Hallelujah to the Lord of Lords,
Who is the great I Am.
This weekend I had a request from Polly, a regular reader for my Buttermilk Pie Recipe.
Buttermilk Pie
1/2 C Butter or margarine
2 C Sugar
3 eggs
3 rounded T. Flour
1 C buttermilk
Dash of Nutmeg ( I prefer fresh grated nutmeg)
Cream together butter & sugar. In another bowl beat eggs and flour until very fluffy. Combine butter mixture with egg mixture. Fold in buttermilk and nutmeg. Pour into a pie shell. Grate a little bit of fresh nutmeg on top of pie. Bake for 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
